Keep people in Favourites
Favourites are at the top of All contacts as larger cards, and in Favourites in the sidebar.

Open the person
Click their card in your contacts.

Press the star
At the top right of the card. Press it again to take it off.

Find them at the top
Favourites show first in All contacts, and in Favourites in the sidebar.
