Sub-processors
Last updated 9 May 2026 · Third parties involved in running the Dazr products on dazr.eu and the network services the browser uses.
What this page is for
For most Dazr products there is no processor / controller relationship between you and us, so no DPA-driven notification regime applies. We publish this list anyway for transparency. The Dazr Compliance product has its own, contractually binding sub-processor list at compliance.dazr.eu/legal/subprocessors.
For the dazr.eu website and the contact / newsletter forms
| Category | What they do | Region |
|---|---|---|
| EU cloud infrastructure | Static-site hosting, edge functions, DNS, the contact-form endpoint and the newsletter endpoint. | EU |
| Aggregate analytics | Cookieless page-view counting. No personal data, no cross-page tracking. | EU |
| Transactional email | Sends the newsletter, contact-form acknowledgements and operational support replies. | EU |
| Customer support tooling | Routing of incoming support email. | EU |
For the search proxy
| Category | What they do | Region |
|---|---|---|
| EU cloud infrastructure | Hosts the proxy that fronts your queries, with rate-limit counters and abuse protection. | EU |
| Upstream search providers | Receive the query (without your IP, because the proxy fronts it) and return results. We use multiple upstream sources and rotate. | Various; the proxy aggregates and returns results to you. |
| Distributed cache for rate-limit counters | Short-TTL counters for abuse protection. | EU |
For the site-report (audit) tool
| Category | What they do | Region |
|---|---|---|
| EU cloud infrastructure | Runs the audit (headless browser, network probes, response storage). | EU |
| Headless browser engine | Renders the target URL to evaluate its content. | Local to the audit runtime; the engine is a managed dependency, not an external service. |
For network services the browser hits at runtime
These are not sub-processors of Dazr. They are independent third-party services the browser routes specific kinds of traffic through, on your device, without us being in the path. We list them here for transparency.
| Service | What it does | Operator |
|---|---|---|
| dns0.eu (primary), Quad9 (fallback) | DNS over HTTPS for name resolution. | Independent EU non-profits. |
| Beacondb | Open-source geolocation when a site asks for your location. | Independent EU project. |
| OpenPhish, PhishTank, URLhaus | Source the locally cached phishing blocklists. | Independent threat-intelligence projects. |
| EasyList, EasyPrivacy, uBlock filters | Source the locally cached ad and tracker blocklists. | Independent open-source projects. |
What we don't use
- Web analytics products that track individual users (Google Analytics, Plausible's individual-user mode, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.).
- Advertising networks of any kind.
- Customer-data-platform tools that would replicate visitor data into a marketing database.
- AI / LLM providers for processing user content.
Affiliates
We have no group affiliates that process data on our behalf today. If that changes we'll list them here.
